Recent Winner's Article

Kelen Quintana, Graduate student at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs was the 2025 Ristow Prize winner for her paper “Mapping the Floating World: Proto-Cartographic Narratives in Chobunsai Eishi's 'Three Gods of Fortune Visit the Yoshiwara'."

Her article appeared in the Spring 2026 issue of The Portolan.
